New car park shade

🎉New car park shade coming to the front car park!

We are excited to announce that the front car parks near Aldi will be getting shade cover, but not just shade sails like the existing ones, they will be solar panels. 🌞

Because of this installation, parts of the car park will close as the structure is installed. This will happen in multiple stages, with the first stage starting on Monday 7 July.

• Stage one of the works will include the installation of fencing around the area highlighted in yellow on the below map.
• Stage two will be works within fencing, in the next car park section, closer to the existing sail shade structure, preparing the ground.
• Stage three, both sections of the car park will be fenced off as the structure starts to be installed.
• The final stage will be the installation of the solar panels and commissioning.

The total timing for the works is anticipated to be three weeks. Fingers crossed for good weather.

The disabled car parks will temporarily relocate to near the Aldi entrance and be reinstalled when works are complete.
